Every Shirt Has a Story — Swim Bike Run Classic

Every Shirt Has a Story — Swim Bike Run Classic

There are shirts you print because they look cool.
And then there are shirts you print because they mean something.

The Swim • Bike • Run Classic was the first one that ever felt like identity.

No mascots.
No slogans.
No clever jokes.
Just the order that changes you forever.

You learn to float.
You learn to suffer.
You learn to run on legs that don’t feel like yours anymore.
And somewhere along the way, you realize—
this sport has taken root in your life.

That’s what this shirt was born from.

The original was navy with blue and yellow lettering.
Simple. Sharp. Rustic, Faded.  Soft and easy. A shirt you would want to reach for over and over again.

When I first started offering it, I didn’t know if five people would buy it.
But triathletes found it.
They understood it immediately.
They didn’t ask for an explanation.
They just said, “I need that.”

That’s when I knew this wasn’t merch.
It was identity.

Then came the requests:
“Do you have it in red, white, and blue?”
“That would be perfect for July races.”
“I want it for podium photos.”

The Americana version was never planned.
Athletes made it happen.
And once it existed—it never went away.

Today, the Swim Bike Run Classic lives on tees, long sleeves, tanks, and hoodies.
It’s the shirt you wear when you’re not training:
airport mornings, pool deck, coffee runs, recovery days, athlete meet-ups.

Every time you run into someone in the shirt,
the conversation is easy:
“You’re one of us.”

Every shirt has a story.
This one is where ours began.
